High Tech Vintage Kitchen

Right from the start, our clients, a young family of three, communicated that they wanted to have many family get-togethers in their new home. Moving from a small apartment in the city, they were looking forward to cooking in tandem and doing lots of entertaining. After we removed walls and opened up new doors, they now have a mudroom and new powder room on the 1st floor. The new kitchen has a breakfast nook and is connected to the family room as well as the play area. Our clients liked the idea of designing the space with a vintage feel, using distressed wood for the cabinets as well as floor tiles, that resembles reclaimed wood. We combined a farmhouse sink with high-end Wolf appliances.
