Mid-Century Modern Custom Built Media Center

Our clients love to entertain, and this spacious family room, located in the homes addition, often hosts get-togethers for friends and family. They both love sports, and a big TV was obligatory. To match the proportion of the room, we created a wall just for the media equipment. Built-in an L-shape, it creates the illusion that this space is separated; it also allowed us to place a wardrobe on the short side of the L- right next to the side door. Guests can enter through there and hang their coats. The horizontal panels are made of distressed wood; the base cabinet connects with the wooden floor as well as with the adjacent kitchen cabinetry. The floating shelves offer plenty of space to decorate.
